When he's not jaywalking across the street or being extremely absurd, Mark Ward enjoys goofing off by doing what other people would call work. Mark's past clients include Allied Van Lines, House of Blues, the Chicago Independent Film Festival, Kraft Foods, Kellogg's, Pillsbury, Hormel, Campbell's, Brach Confections, Leaf, Tropicana, Land O'Lakes, an insurance company or two, theatre groups, musicians and writers, and even did a stint for a promotions firm who's main client was R.J. Reynolds, the cigarette people. But please don't hold working for musicians against him. While he may seem to be proficient in mostly the graphical area, Mark has also specialized in adult instruction, project management, client relations, public and marketing relations, web design, computer solutions, computeraided presentation creation, visual and audio media, problem solving, organizational logistics, market research and analysis, cost analysis, event organization, promotion and advanced lawn mowing. He just can't stand the thought of limiting oneself in a single profession and chooses to be proficient in as many areas as his little mind can take in. He holds a BA from the Moody Bible Institute (which means that he does pretty good on Jeopardy's theology questions), but also majored in audio/visual communications. Mark has received several national awards for photography back in the early 90's and now only picks up a camera for personal reasons or when there is no stock photography that adequately conveys the idea he has. Whatever Mark doesn't know and wants to, he starts picking up books, picking people's brains (but not their noses), combing websites and generally keeps going until he get's his man ... er, uh, answer. It is through this method that he can be annoying, so beware. He enjoys CNN, MTV, NPR, the History Channel, wilderness hiking, BMX racing, motorcycles, really bad guitar playing, people watching and metalsmithing jewelry. Mark also plays a mean badminton and pickleball game and will be more than happy to play a round to those looking forward to skinning their knees and elbows. Currently Mark resides in a very cozy place in Chi-town and can be emailed by clicking here. |
